PV Output Results
Please find below actual customer results against the original estimated figures, highlighting how well a good designed PV system can perform when matched with quality components.
A.C. – 18 Kyocera 215 = 3.87kwp
“Our recorded generation for our first year was 4007, which exceeded the estimates you provided by a significant percentage (SAP 3194). This may well be a local weather effect because we are on the edge of the Isle of Ely, with the only modestly high ground in this area which borders the Fens. This may have reduced cloud cover in our locality. Anyway, we are very happy with our investment.”
G. C. – 12 x Sanyo HiT 250 = 3.00kwp
“I have had cheques from my fit payments for just over £1500 in 4 cheques from SSE and as my electric bill has been on monthly direct debit for as long as I can remember, we overpaid by £350 this year, which I have been credited for. So all totted up on my investment, I have had approx 18% back, which is a lot more than forecast, and not a great summer, so can only get better.”
G. M. – 13 x Schuco 215 = 2.795kwp
“My system generation total for the year to 30th. Sept 2012. is 2501 kwh, versus the estimated 2330kwh. Not bad considering the crap summer we have had.”
J. R. – 21 x Schuco 190 = 3.99kwp
“We generated 3170kwh in the first year, for which we received £1466.98 FIT and export payment. We also have saved £236 on our electricity bill for the year. We have calculated over 15 % return on our investment in the first year.”(Original estimated SAP figure, 2960kwh)
D. L. – 18 x Schuco 215 3.87kwp
“From 18 Nov 2011 to 18 Nov 2012 the panels have generated 3,963 kw, which has resulted in FIT and feed back payments of £1,841. This is considerably more than I had budgeted for which is encouraging, especially as it has been rather a poor summer in terms of sunny days. I think the overall results are very pleasing and a better summer would generate quite a lot more.” (Original estimated SAP figure, 3032kwh)
M. R. – 21 x Schuco 190 = 3.99kwp
“The results for the year are in line with your projection and my expectations! I had an income of £1500 as the aim, and with a total reading of 3233kwh giving £1503 income. I was very pleased. Not bad for a roof facing East south east and a lousy year for sunshine.” (Original estimated SAP figure, 3127kwh)
K. S. - 16 x Sanyo HiT250 = 4.0kwp
“The Solar panels are working fine and had generated 3858 kWh on the one year anniversary of the installation (23/09/12).” (Original estimated SAP figure, 3334kwh)
M. H. - 16 x Schuco MPE 190 = 3.04kwp
“We generated 2995.7 kwh during the period of 9/9/2011 to 9/9/2012. Our best month was August 2012 which netted 351.7 kwh. Overall, I am very pleased with they Solar PV system that your company installed.” (Original estimated SAP figure, 2534kwh)
B. D. – 18 x Romag 220 = 3.96kwp
“Thought you might like to know how pleased we are despite duff summer. We clocked up 3700 kwh and have received £1,941 in our first year from EON. Pay back promises to be under 6 years.” (Original estimated SAP figure, 3202kwh)
T. K. – 8 x Schott 225 = 1.80kwp
“Just to let you know that I checked the meter on the 29/05/11, exactly one year since we went live, and the reading was 1812 kwh. FANTASTIC! Much better than all the estimates. Please feel free to use this as an example to whoever but I think 1812 kwh versus the estimate of 1485kwh (a difference of 327kw or 18%) is something to write home about. If I achieve this every year over just the next ten years it makes the payback better than anything on the financial markets at the moment.”
A. S. – 10 x Sanyo 215 = 2.15kwp
“It has been one year since you installed 10 x Sanyo 215 HKNE5 photovoltaic panels on my garage roof. At the time the estimated performance of the system was 1756 kwh per year. Well, I have just recorded 1830 kwh and submitted this figure as the Feed in Tariff to my electricity provider. Fantastic! Well done! Not only was the installation made without any hassle, but now the system has produced more refund of money than predicted. I am so pleased that I accepted your advice and Solar Array installation. It was one of the better things I did last year!”
R. C. – 12 x Sanyo 240 = 2.88kwp
“My installation was commissioned on 19/08/2010 with estimated output of energy delivered (SAP) 2353kwh. The actual output as of 1800 hrs 19/08/2011 was 2569 kwh”
C. A. – 17 x Schott 230 = 3.91kwp
“The total generated by the end of 18/08/2011 (one year since fitted) was 4086 kwh against the SAP estimate of 3259 kwh”
C. R. – 16 x Schott 230 = 3.68kwp
“Redmile Energy have provided us with an excellent service from day one. One year on, and we have exceeded our estimated kwh by nearly 10% despite the weather, and the FIT payments are coming in as promised. Couldn’t have asked for more from Redmile Energy, and will continue to recommend them to friends and clients. Shame I can’t say the same about the weather!”
R. W. – 20 x Schuco 190 = 3.80kwp
“It’s now 12 months since I registered the installation your company built on my house at in St.Neots and I am so pleased with it’s performance in the past year (with so much rain and overcast skies) that I felt compelled to let you know. With total reliability the installation has generated 3055 kwh against the estimate of 2883 kwh, which in the ‘Feed in’ terms equals just 55p short of £1400! I think this figure of £1399.45 represents something like a 12% + return of sum invested. A very contented customer, regards, Roger Wilkinson”.
Y. P. – 18 x Schuco 210 = 3.78kwp
“I have worked out that the panels have earned £300 more in the first full year than you estimated. Thank you”
